The University of Lincoln Students’ Union will be installing a train ticket booth in its reception tomorrow.

The installation of the new booth is in partnership with East Midlands Trains and it means students will no longer need to queue up at Lincoln’s train station to collect their pre-booked tickets.

The SU said the addition would make it “more convenient” for students as well as taking pressure away from Lincoln’s busy train station.

James Brooks, the SU’s Chief Executive, said: “We’re always keen to work with local organisations to find ways to improve the student experience.

“Many of Lincoln’s students travel across the country to see family and friends and the East Midlands Trains ticket booth will make it that much easier for students to collect their tickets from the heart of Lincoln’s campus”.
