It’s that time of year when the leaves fall and you need that extra blanket on your bed. But how can you embrace the season from the comfort of your bedroom? Zhenya Nikolova tells us how!

Autumn is secretly the best season – jumpers and coats make a return, hot drinks taste that little nicer, Halloween is around the corner and you can finally start the Christmas countdown (eek!).

But Autumn is also known as ‘the cooling-off season’ so why not make some simple changes to your room décor to get in the right spirit for this time of the year?

Changing your bed sheets from bright and summery to cool and grey gives your bedroom a more smart and sophisticated look! After all, autumn is about leaving your adventures back in the hot seasons and concentrating on achieving your goals!

Because nothing says ‘cosy’ like wrapping up in a soft, big blanket! A bed throw will bring additional cosiness to your bedroom and is perfect as those chilly nights creep closer.

Candles

When you were younger candles were probably the most boring present you ever received, but now you’re older you’re probably obsessed with them! They make us feel calm, which is exactly what we need once the air gets colder and the days get shorter.  For an even better Autumn feeling, try a cinnamon or an apple scented candle.

Whether you want to wrap your bed frame to create a comforting place to chill, or you want to wrap them around your beauty table for more fabulous-ness, these are guaranteed to add a bit of sparkle to your setting. Instead of buying a lamp for your bedroom, why not get creative and stick some lights in an empty jar? It works wonderfully!
