Hundreds of people gathered in Lincoln last night to remember lost loved ones at Christmas time.
Light Up a Life – run by St. Barnabas Hospice – saw Lincoln residents attend a service at Our Lady of Lincoln Church.
A procession then followed where people carried a torch or lantern through the city in memory of a friend or family member who passed away.
The night ended outside Lincoln Cathedral where people were invited to write a personal message to attach to the Tree of Life.
