In England alone 224,000 people play squash per week. 120 of these active members are at Eastgate squash club including 16-year-old Daniel Wells.
Daniel has been playing squash since he was seven years old and has been training at Eastgate squash club for the last two years. Since taking up the sport he is now determined to take the sport to a professional level. He trains every day at Eastgate squash club and regularly takes part in national and regional competitions.
Currently ranked 11th in the under 17s category for England Squash he will be competing in the East Midlands junior squash competition this weekend.
The competition which will take place across both Eastgate and Lindum squash clubs will see juniors from all across the county competing.
