The University of Lincoln’s Blackboard portal – used by students to access learning resources – has now been offline for the fourth time in four days.
The site first became unavailable on Friday morning, before being resolved in the afternoon.
The issues then continued this morning, with Blackboard going down a further three times so far today.
The problems come at the start of the new academic term, with lessons getting underway earlier this morning.
In their latest update email, the IT department said: “ICT are still investigating ongoing issues with Blackboard being unavailable. We are working closing with Blackboard to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.
“At present we have no timescales to a fix however updates will be provided as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
