The University of Lincoln is inviting staff and students to share their views on digital education at Lincoln in a series of workshops.
Taking place in the Think Tank on Thursday and online on Monday, the ‘Next Digital Learning Environment’ sessions will see feedback used to form a ‘forward plan for the University’s digital education strategy’.
In a statement, Andy Beggan, Dean of Digital Education at the University of Lincoln, said: “We know that technologies are evolving almost constantly in this modern era, and as a University we strive to ensure that our digital education toolkit can keep up with those changes, and enhance the student experience.
“We already have a comprehensive digital learning platform, and we want to build on that by thinking ahead to what we want technology to do for us in the future,” he said.
Mr Beggan then went on to add that the main goal of the workshops is to ‘gain [an] insight into exactly what our students and staff want technology to do for them, and how they want to use it the future’.
He said: “Feedback from staff across all academic colleges will help us to understand the needs of different disciplines, and we want to hear any ideas from our students – they are the ones we are developing our plans for, so their input at this stage is vital.”
The session on Thursday takes place between 9:30am to 12:30pm and students interested in signing up to the session can do so via Eventbrite.
