A new genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic and sessions on contraception have been launched by the University of Lincoln’s Health Centre.
The Health Centre will run the service from 2pm to 6pm every Wednesday.
In an announcement, Lincoln SU said: “Although many people think GUM clinics only provide STI testing, they in fact deliver many other crucial services, including: advice about sexual health, free contraception, pregnancy tests, HIV testing, advice about abortions and help for those who have been sexually assaulted.
“For other services including PEP and hepatitis B vaccinations, the nurse would refer clients to Lindon House.”
Appointments can be made by calling 01522 309309 and asking for a ‘Lincoln University Health Centre session’.
