Dick and Dom fans gathered at Lincoln Students’ Union’s “Engine Shed” venue in their masses to support the children’s comedy double act and their Quack takeover.

The duo took to the stage last Wednesday, October 4th, for a bad-shirt themed Quack night showcasing their DJ skills off to the crowds.

Dick and Dom last performed at Quack back in 2017.

They spent over an hour on stage playing a range of songs from Abba’s “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme” to Oasis’ “Wonderwall” and Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite”. Crowd interactions were not few and far between with both Dick and Dom talking to the crowd as well as throwing things for them to catch including the infamous Quack Rubber Ducks.

A particular crowd favourite from the night was the game of “Bogies” the pair played referencing back to a sketch on their children’s show ‘Dick and Dom in da Bungalow’.

The Quack takeover was one of 24 appearances as part of Dick and Dom’s UK DJ tour. They will also be visiting Sheffield, London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

One student who was at quack said: “It was quite nostalgic seeing them, there was a big crowd and loads of people were there, but they were really fun.”

Another student said: “I thought the whole experience was amazing. From when they got on stage to them playing bogies with everyone it was amazing. I had such a great night out with my mates and we had exceptional music. The all-round vibe from Dick and Dom was great.”
