Lincolnshire’s flag American Football team, the Lincolnshire Longhorns, hosted the second edition of the ‘Flagna Carta’ on Saturday, March 9.
Hosted at Lincoln’s Ruston Sports and Social Club, the event ran throughout Saturday, with 12 teams competing to win the competition.
Jake Robinson, general manager of the Lincolnshire Longhorns, said: “The idea of the tournament is to make us [Lincolnshire] more of a profile with American Football.”
“When I started playing for the Longhorns, we only had nine players… but now as a team we have got nearly 25 people registered so it just keeps growing,” he added.
