Lincoln City Women play host to Worcester City at the LNER Stadium, in their first game at the ground this season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln United travel to Barnsley in Lee Mitchell’s second game in charge of The Whites.

Lincoln City Women vs Worcester City:

Lincoln City will play at the LNER Stadium on Sunday, against Worcester City. The visitors sit just four points above the Imps, and face the prospect of a key relegation six-pointer.

Lincoln play off the back of yet another defeat in the league, this time to Notts County. To rub salt in the wounds, ex-City players Millie Quaintance, Leah Hardy and Neve Hincks were all on the scoresheet in their side’s 4-0 win.

Worcester have also struggled in the league so far this season, winning just once and picking up a point versus Sutton Coldfield Town back in October.

The side lost 5-2 at home to Barnsley Women last weekend, however a point deduction for Solihull Moors meant they moved up a place into tenth.

Lincoln City head coach Charlotte Dinsdale says her side are excited to have the chance to play at the LNER Stadium this Sunday.

She said: “We’re real pleased to have a game at the LNER, obviously in Lincoln back by the club and of course a great opportunity for some of the girls.

“For some of them it will be their first time playing at a major stadium and we absolutely do want the crowd to come and help us.”

Barnsley vs Lincoln United Women:

Lincoln United travel to the aforementioned Barnsley on Sunday in what will be new head coach Lee Mitchell’s second game in charge, and his first away from Ashby Avenue.

The Whites fell to a 4-0 defeat to Boldmere St. Michaels last week, with goals coming from Tilly Astell, Anna Wilcox and a brace from Janelle Straker.

Barnsley have struggled to find form recently, winning just two of their last six games in all competitions. However, their last win came only last week versus Worcester City.

Lincoln United have been busy in recent weeks, adding multiple players to Lee Mitchell’s squad. Their most recent signing was announced on Thursday, confirming ex-Imps player Lucy Farrow would re-join forces with her former gaffer.

Alice Hayes spoke ahead of the game, and said: “We’re expecting a tough game against Barnsley. It is important for us to stay sharp from the get go. For us it’s about sticking to our plan, staying focussed and making sure we’re ready for the physical battle.”

Both sides kick off at 2pm on Sunday, November 17.
