Lindum Hockey‘s head coach was delighted with how his side controlled the game in their win over Stourport.
The Yellow Submarine coach reflected on a second win in as many games, speaking to The Linc sports editor Jamie Johnson about their “professional” game management in the final quarter and penalty corner successes.
Goals from Ben Read, Angus Graham and Matt Goodley were enough for the three points against strugglers Stourport.
“We are delighted, we always knew these two would be opportunities to get points, as any game is, and this was necessary really,” Cunnington explained.
He also spoke about the first half of the season as a whole and looked ahead to next week’s trip to Deeside Ramblers in the final game before the winter break.
