Lincoln City host second-placed Peterborough United, while Lincoln United make the trip to Solihull Moors.

It is the final games of 2024 for the Lincoln’s two main women’s teams. They will return from the winter break on Sunday, January 5.

Lincoln City Women vs Peterborough United:

Lincoln City are yet to pick up a point so far this campaign with relegation now looking highly likely. They remain bottom of the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands.

Last time out, Charlotte Dinsdale’s side suffered a huge defeat away to high-flyers Loughborough Lightning, who beat the Imps 9-0.

Peterborough, who will face City at Gainsborough Trinity‘s KAL Group Stadium come into the game off the back of a hard-fought win at home to Worcester City.

They won 1-0 courtesy of a 92nd minute winner from Megan Lawlor. That means Posh now sit two points behind league leaders Northampton Town, having played an extra game.

Solihull Moors vs Lincoln United Women:

Lincoln United make the trip to Solihull Moors this Sunday. The Whites are now winless in their last three league matches, with the most recent defeat for Lee Mitchell’s side suffered 4-0 away to Barnsley.

However, during the week, former Lincoln City star Chantelle Robinson made the switch to Ashby Avenue, re-joining forces with her former manager.

Solihull Moors are in trouble, siting in the relegation zone along with Imps. The side have picked up just three points this season with their only win coming against City back in September.

Last week the side fell to a heavy 5-0 defeat to Sutton Coldfield Town away from home. Sutton’s Niamh Deasy registered a hat-trick to help her side brush past the Whites.

Lincoln United’s Amy Copley says it would be great to register a win going into the Christmas break.

She said: “I’m really excited to get back on the pitch after a few weeks off. We have been working hard in training and I’m sure that will show on Sunday. Would be great to get three points on the points for Christmas.”

Both sides kick off on Sunday, December 15 at 2pm.
