Manager Russ Wilcox said Gainsborough Trinity‘s win over in-form Warrington Rylands is a potential confidence builder for his team.
Speaking to The Linc sports reporter Thomas Westcott, Wilcox spoke about his side’s hard work and determination, coming back to win 3-1 after Ben Hardcastle’s early opener for the visitors.
Warrington had come into the game with five wins on the spin, but saw their great run ended by the Holy Blues.
The Trinity boss dissected the game, commented on all three of Gainsborough’s impressive goals, and looked ahead to Saturday’s visit of strugglers Blyth Spartans.
