Lincoln United Women 4-2 Worcester City:

Lincoln United Women manager Lee Mitchell spoke about a huge win in the relegation battle over Worcester City.

Speaking to The Linc reporter Roberto Hollis, he said: “To see the goals start to be shared and come from other areas of the pitch [other than Lucy Farrow] is fantastic. If it only comes from one player all the time, teams will mark you put the game.”

Mitchell also reflected on a quick start that went according to plan, his side’s resilience, and a positive second-half performance. The Whites’ boss then looked ahead to Wednesday’s Lincoln derby against his former side.
