Ashby Avenue hosts the second Lincoln derby of the campaign, as Lincoln United Women welcome Lincoln City women under the lights.
Both sides find themselves in the bottom half of the Division One Midlands table coming into this one, with Lincoln City rooted to the bottom.
Lincoln United find themselves in ninth position and will be hoping to build some momentum following Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Worcester City.
The home side:
That victory was just the side’s fifth of the season one of which came in the reverse fixture where the Whites ran out 5-1 victors.
Lee Mitchell’s side will be hoping that victory in this one should go a long way to securing their survival and a second successive season at step four of the pyramid for the first time in their history.
The visitors:
Lincoln City picked up their first point of the season at the weekend when they held fellow relegation rivals Solihull Moors to a 1-1 draw. It ended their string of losses throughout the current campaign.

Despite that, survival is looking like a tough task for the Imps with Charlotte Dinsdale’s team currently sitting six points adrift of safety and a six-year stay at tier four looking more likely to come to an end.
With 36 players representing the side throughout the season, squad turnover has clearly been one of the big issues for City this season.
Team news:
Following Sunday’s victory Lincoln United manager Lee Mitchell stressed the importance of his team starting to share the goalscoring responsibilities when.
He said: “For the other players to start to step up and get in the areas that they did is great to see.”
He is also expecting to have a fully fit squad available for this one, and when asked about the matchup he said: “It will be a tasty encounter and that’s what we expect, the players are up for it I’m not too worried about their mindset.”

Head-to-head:
The two sides have met twice over the past few campaigns, with United taking the victory both times. The first meeting came in last season’s County Cup where Lincoln United took home the trophy with win courtesy of goals from Sally Cairns and Demi Barai.
More recently, United took the bragging rights again in the reverse fixture earlier in the season when they claimed a comfortable 5-1 win. That was under the management of Chris Funnell, when he returned to the club on an interim basis.
A Laurence Churcher opener for United was cancelled out by Weronika Kruszyna sending the scores in level at the break. However, the Whites ran away with it in the second-half as goals from Churcher, Isabelle Thorpe, Holly Wilson and Betsy Thomas sealed the victory on the road.
