Lincoln United 3-2 Wisbech Town:
Lincoln United manager Scott Hellewell has said he was “drained” as title race promises to go down to the wire.
The Linc sports reporter Declan Dempsey, Hellewell dissected last-gasp victory over Wisbech Town, as Lincoln rose to top of the UCL Premier Division North table.
The three points confirmed United would have at least a play-off place come the end of the season, though The Whites’ boss knows the fate of the title race is in his team’s hands.
He said: “That [play-offs] was the minimum objective when we came in, we need to be in the promotion places come the end of the season. To do that is a big thing for us… but our aims have always been to win the league.”
