Celebrated British a capella performers The King’s Singers will bring down the curtain on the 2009 International Concert Series at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC) on June 7.

The group, who has been performing together in various incarnations for over 40 years, have established a strong international following and garnered critical acclaim for their vocal talents.

Their unique, acclaimed performances are based upon a unique interpretation of both classical and popular music.

The King’s Singers performance will mark the final event of the LPAC’s International Concert Series. So far the talents of cellist Steven Isserlis, violinist Nicola Benedetti and pianist Paul Lewis have been showcased to great reception.

The King’s Singers concert, Romance du Soir!, will take place at the LPAC on Sunday 7 June. There will be a pre-concert talk at 3.15pm and the performance starts at 4pm. Tickets cost £15 (£12 concessions, £5 students).
