You want me to vote for you? Work for it! Don’t expect me to join a group on Facebook and be spammed until I want to cry.
Just because Barack Obama used social media as part of his campaign doesn’t mean that SU Election candidates can follow suit. You need the gift of the gab. It’s no good using Facebook and Twitter to get my attention, I expect some real life communication.
Bake me a cake, offer me Maoam, even a bourbon biscuit will win me over. Ideally candidates could tell students what they will actually do to make a difference rather than bribe us with goodies (although the goodies are much appreciated and really do help).
