Sam Lloyd, who plays hapless lawyer Ted Buckland, and his band will be performing such hits as “Charles in Charge”, “Elliot in your Cup”, and the Scrubs theme tune “Superman”.
This is an alternative night of music and entertainment, and is particularly not to be missed by fans of the hit show “Scrubs”, which has been cancelled after nine successful seasons.
The band consists of a cappella singers Sam Lloyd, Philip McNiven, George Miserlis, and Paul F. Perry. The quartet have this year launched their debut album “Riding the Wave” and this will be their first tour in the UK, playing a total of 14 shows.
The Blanks first appeared in season one of the TV show singing cartoon theme songs, and have since then gained something of a cult status returning as a group in 15 other episodes. Their covers on the show, including a cover of the Outkast hit “Hey Ya”, have proven so popular that they have been released in single format on iTunes.
