Four fire engines were called out to the Pavilions accommodation yesterday on Thursday November 28.
The fire brigade were called out following a fire on the top floor of Charlesworth House.
Everyone in the building had to evacuate.
It’s been said that an oven glove caught alight and a student pressed the fire alarm.
The small fire was put out before the fire engines arrived.
