Now its November, we’ve all really started to feel the chill and on campus you’ve been sporting some serious winter style. We were back out with the camera this week, snapping Lincoln student’s best seasonal outfits and winter trends. Here are this month’s hottest looks:
Second year international student Sissi was spotted leaving the Architecture Building in a cute fluffy knit cardigan. Fluffy knits are everywhere this winter and Sissi’s grey number looks perfect teamed with a girly skater dress, black tights and chunky heeled boots.
Ruth, first year Drama student, was on her way back home when she was spotted championing several of this winters best looks. The statement leather sleeved coat looks super smart – a 2012 trend that’s back in again this winter – and Ruth’s kept hers bang on trend with a tartan scarf thrown over the top. Buckled cut out boots and that red lipstick give the outfit a rock chick edge.
Taking the tartan trend even further is Forensic Psychology student Charlotte. Charlotte’s paired her statement leggings with a plain black camisole and an oversized boyfriend coat. She’s accessorised with a few chain necklaces and a black satchel, keeping the attention firmly on those lush leggings.
Showing us what a great transitional outfit looks like is third year Journalism student, Anna, who was leaving the MHT building. Anna’s oversized denim shirt and baggy candy pink jumper combination shows how you can make summer trends look great this winter, just by adding opaque tights and chunky boots. The gold oversized watch and chain necklace accessories help the outfit to stay current.
LOVE Charlotte’s outfit. Wish I was brave enough to pull it off x
