Both of Lincoln’s basketball teams where defeated by Hull at Lincoln Christ Hospital School today.
It has been a tough day for the University of Lincoln sports teams and there was no good news coming from the basketball court either.
The Women’s basketball team lost a closely contested match against Hull 49 – 52.
It did not go so well for the men’s team, as Hull dominated much of the game, returning across the Humber Bridge with a 46 – 63 win.
Osaro Otobo, captain of Hull’s Women’s team said the game could have gone either way.
“Lincoln was fierce and very competitive. They played well and we where never certain of victory. The game was full of energy and high phased, a really good game.”
