Lincoln firefighters have rescued an adult and child stuck in a lift on the High Street level crossing this afternoon.
Crews from Lincoln South fire station were called to the site at 1:51 pm to free two people from the lift.
The adult and child were trapped in the lift for approximately 30 minutes before the firefighters were able to open the lift doors.
The firefighters freed the adult and child from the lift by operating the controls on the lift.
There have been no reports any injuries as a result of the incident.
In September last year, crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called to rescue two adults and a child from the lift of the £12 million footbridge.
