Every week the producers of content for The Linc’s culture section band together to create a playlist of what they’ve been listening to over the past couple of days.

This week features a variety of genres, something for everyone to enjoy.

Of course, Liam Gallagher features prominently after the release of his first solo album named ‘As You Were’. He appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show the other night and it appears his album is going down a storm.

For something more upbeat, check out the remixes of ‘Do-Re-Mi’ and ‘Feel It Still’, both fantastic party songs to get you in the mood for a night out around Lincoln.

‘Solar Blade’ is a great shout if you’re looking for something funky and different to your norm.

For something chilled out, ‘Standing In The Middle Of A Field’ by Cut Copy and ‘King Without A Throne’ by Seamus both provide a relaxed vibe to your day, definitely worth listening to when relaxing after a long day. A calm vibe to both songs provides a perfect tone for some ‘post-stress me time’.

So, go and give this instalment of ‘The Linc Weekly’ a listen on Spotify and see if you can’t find yourself a new favourite.
